Jono Hendl

Jono was employed at Body Positive in Auckland in 2017/2018 as the Peer Support Coordinator during which time he completed post grad studies in social and community leadership. He is particularly interested in community led development and community psychology.

Jono has volunteered in the HIV sector, usually in fundraising roles, since 2001. Prior to 2017 he was a musician working with professional orchestras in Australia, New Zealand and New York. He has also shared the stage with performers ranging from Bonnie Tyler, Marcia Hines to Robbie Williams. Jono was diagnosed with HIV in 2006 and commenced treatment a month later.
