The peer-led partner notification project has been developed in partnership with the NSW Ministry of Health and Sexual Health Infolink (SHIL). Borne out of the expressed needs of people living with HIV (PLHIV), our members and community, this project is the first step in peers taking ownership of a critical diagnosis moment.
Peer Led Partner Notification offers support from someone else who has been through the process of notifying our sexual and injecting partners that they have potentially been put at risk of an infection. The program offers a road-map so peers can self-direct, empower and build individual agency, as well as increase testing for people who may have been potentially exposed to HIV.
